DragonFruit EP, Reviewed by The Bops Collective
Dragonfruit is an eclectic dance project influenced by vaporwave, RnB, and contemporary pop. It’s four tracks within which you’ll find a sense of familiarity, and an equal portion of uniqueness to balance out the palette. ... Very rarely do I find the last song on a project to be my favourite — especially with upcoming artists, who tend to embellish tail-ends with their B-sides. I think that stands as testament as to how well-crafted a project Dragonfruit is. It’s well thought out and deserves every bit of attention that’s coming its way.
DragonFruit EP, Review and Interview by Indie Top 39
After listening to ‘Dragonfuit’ on repeat I have to admit that I am feeling happier. It is hard to believe that it is the same person singing all the songs. Sabiine brings a unique blend of talent that deserves to be heard at arenas. The quality of the production is sick and is much better than most of the stuff you hear on the radio!
DragonFruit EP, Review and Interview by Buzz Music
Basking in her sound residing under Dark Pop, Dance, Alt-Folk, and Hot AC, Sabiine takes little elements of each to serve listeners a sweltering sound that's positively irresistible. Writing her own melodies and lyrics, Sabiine is the next artist to keep an eye on.

Sabiine’s latest release, “Water” is an electro pop dance inspired love song about the sometimes overwhelming power of love as an emotion. Her vocals shine brightly throughout the whole song and seamlessly follow the ebbs and flows of her infectiously poppy melody lines.

“Hotline” isn’t a song you listen to just once – it’s been on repeat for a good twenty minutes, but it only took a second to realise that Sabiine’s catchy hooks would be stuck in my head for the rest of the evening. The artist, who hails from Atlanta, possesses a voice unlike any other pop prodigy’s and packs a bewitching punch in just two minutes and thirty seconds

Sabine releases lyrics meant to be relatable and still express emotions of her own in a colorful way. She is often recognized by an original quirk she adds to her vocal choices, yet her vocal tone and range can be compared to that of Ellie Golding. Combine that with the smokey electric pop sounds Billie Eilish brings to the scene, and you’ve got a colorful and expressive Sabiine. .

Still Miss You, Reviewed by Independent Music Reviews
The song Still Miss You has a nice groove that is both infectious and steady. It’s a lush electronic canvas to showcase the artist’s vocal style, but also reflects some of the songwriting and production that really digs a bit deeper. There are nice soft transitions and little sparks in the electronics and synth that add that special something to an already dynamic tune.

Much of these attributes have a lot to do with Sabiine’s witchy-chic vocals. Melodies flow naturally, like age-old incantations, over the electro-folk backdrop, with Sabiine’s self-assured singing always careful to leave just enough distance between herself and the listeners. There’s something secretive about Sabiine’s work. And, by the sound of it, she likes it this way.

“The title track is very distinctive and it is not surprising to see that it is the flagship song for this amazing release. The song is built on a soothing dine-pop aesthetic, with a lush introduction and a one-of-a-kind texture, which feels extremely haunting and atmospheric. The arrangement has a nice build up to it, going for an even more exciting and forward-thinking twist, especially when the song hits its full climax, with a rich array of sounds and textures.”

“When you hear On The Mind, it is not surprising that Sabiine has gained more attention. Her loving and beautiful singing voice is the main element, on which the main focus is initially placed in the first moments of the song. With a minimalistic but balanced soundscape, an interesting sound construct is presented, which is perfectly matched to the vocal performance of female performer Sabiine. Vocally convincing, the lightness of the arrangement cuts an excellent figure and creates a title that is not too difficult, but also not too easy, but has an exact balance.”
